Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs enjoyed a spread 10 or more points in their final three home games this season.

BATSBY Sports offers its five most appealing picks for the upcoming football weekend.

Why only five selections?

Well, with both college and pro working through the postseason realm … unfortunately, we’re running out of football games to analyze, embrace and cherish — before next August.

Charting regular season play, BATSBY Sports had been remarkably consistent for the first two months, touting SIX consecutive weeks of a 9-6 combined record.

In the aftermath …

**BATSBY momentarily came back to Earth 11 weeks ago, churning out a painfully mediocre 7-7-1 mark.

**However, the successive nine weekends have been a collective joyride, posting nine wins at least six times and going 84-58 overall during this prolific stretch.

**We enjoyed a season high three weeks ago (11 wins), highlighted by the 8-1 mark with NFL selections.

**The Week 17 NFL campaign, our last weekend of 15 money-line picks, finished on a positive note (8-7 overall).
